Wendy Kays has been married to the lead designer of SOCOM: U.S. Navy Seals, now developing casual games for Real Networks, for seven years. She lives in the Pacific Northwest software development hot zone near Microsoft, Nintendo, and a myriad of small independent game studios. She has both an intimate network of game widow friends, and an international network of professional game contacts. She has consulted with the Internet/Computer Addiction Services and the Reality Quest Program; a team of nationally recognized counselors treating technolgy addiction in the Northwest. She has been interviewed as an expert on the games industry and culture by local news media KOMO News Radio, the Seattle Times, and Northwest Afternoons. Ms. Kays has a degree in Communications and Public Relations. Her first book, Game Widow, has been just published by Synergy Books in 2008. More information
